2015, you have been good to me. Throughout this past year I have been so blessed to meet and work with the most amazing people, and experience some sweet things. I got to visit some beautiful places, as well as have so many wonderful opportunities given to me. I can't even begin to express how overjoyed I feel looking back at 2015. There was so much laughter, a lot of awkward moments, changes, good progress, and lots and lots of photos!

I feel so thrilled to have worked with so many unique and beautiful couples throughout this year's wedding season. You guys rock!  Seeing you commit your lives to each other was incredible to capture. I cannot wait to have another Summer of wedding photography in 2016. I love love, and photographing yours makes me the happiest.

2015 also brought a huge lifestyle change for my family and I. We sold our house in the spring, and bought a fifth wheel to live and travel in. We have been on the road for almost three months now, and life is good. Obviously I couldn't fit all the details about this new adventure in this post, but my Mom is currently blogging about it over at www.thetravelinghome.com, so check it out! Being on the road has been a crazy experience so far. Crazy meaning good, with a few bumps. I'm so looking forward to visiting new places, and connecting with awesome people along the way!

God has really blessed me this year by surrounding me with good friendships. Whether we met at a coffee shop for a short visit, laughed our heads off until midnight for no reason, or I dragged you out in the cold for a photo session, your fellowship effected me hugely. Having people you can talk to, pray with, and laugh with anytime is an awesome blessing. So thank you guys for being in my life. You're rad!

I am so thankful for everyone and everything that has contributed into making this past year one of the best! Here's to the New Year, and the new adventures that will come with it! 

RACHAEL & JAY'S RAINY DAY WEDDING // PETERBOROUGH, ON

Rachael & Jay (and their super awesome wedding party) could not have been more fun to photograph! Seriously, people like this make my job so easy. The rain had me worried at first, but in the end, I was super happy with the resulting photos. The weather didn't seem to phase Rachael & Jay though, they just wanted to enjoy their day, and the rain couldn't stop them. This fabulous clear umbrella (thanks Julia!) was our saviour, and really made some romantic, rainy day images, that reflect their love for each other and the day that surrounded them. Thanks Jay, Rachael, and everyone who worked to make their beautiful day possible!

I was so excited when I first met with Mike & Whitney, and they told me what their vision was for their wedding day - it sounded like a big party! It was a big party! From the cute decor, to the gorgeous couple, and energetic guests, this wedding was definitely one of my favourites to photograph.
